Alan began his career with Tilney Investment Managers in Glasgow in 1990 and previously worked at HSBC Private Bank (Director, London), Greig Middleton Stockbrokers (Glasgow) and Swisspartners (Zurich). He moved from Kleinwort Hambros in Leeds to join Walker Crips in May 2023.Alan has appeared on BBC Radio 4 (Money Box), STV and Cambridge Evening News. He is a CISI exam editor and is a supporter of Marie Curie and Homeless Charities. In his spare time, he enjoys fly-fishing and golf.As a Senior Investment Manager, Alan visits clients and prospects including independent financial advisers, solicitors and accountants in York, Leeds, Harrogate, Bolton and throughout the region.
