We are delighted to announce that Walker Crips has been named as a finalist in three categories at the PIMFA Diversity & Inclusion (“D&I”) Awards 2024.
PIMFA, the trade association for the wealth management, investment services and financial advice sector, launched the D&I Awards in 2021. PIMFA's objective is to promote talent, diversity and inclusion within the industry, highlight best practices and develop initiatives to better reflect the increasingly diverse customer base.
Walker Crips Group has been recognised in the following company categories:
Best D&I Initiative (51-350 employees)
Best Approach to Wellbeing
Additionally, we are proud to announce that Kameka McLean, our Group Head of Human Resources, has been named as a finalist in the DE&I Senior Sponsor Award category.
Throughout the year, Walker Crips has been actively involved in various D&I initiatives. Here are some notable highlights:
Celebrating diversity
At Walker Crips, we understand that diversity, encompassing gender, religion, ethnicity and more, contributes to improved talent attraction and employee retention. We actively embrace our differences and commemorate important awareness events throughout the calendar, such as International Women's Day and Black History Month.
Opening doors to talent
We strongly believe that bringing together diverse perspectives, ideas and approaches fosters innovation and enhances overall performance. To support those at the beginning of their professional journey, we have established a graduate scheme that provides valuable development opportunities. Additionally, we have partnered with learning providers to offer apprenticeships and work experience programmes for school leavers, enabling access to the financial industry to students from a broad range of backgrounds.
The winners of the PIMFA D&I Awards 2024 will be determined by a panel of industry peers and experts. These winners will be unveiled during an awards ceremony at the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel in London on 10 October 2024.

No news or research content is a recommendation to deal. It is important to remember that the value of investments and the income from them can go down as well as up, so you could get back less than you invest. If you have any doubts about the suitability of any investment for your circumstances, you should contact your financial advisor.
